Who are we?
We are a multi-disciplinary research lab based at Politecnico di Milano. Our "Integrated Modification Methodology" (IMM) stands as a globally recognized scientific approach for addressing the built environment challenges.
Collaborating with municipalities, educational institutes, and public/private associations, we facilitate the completion of urban projects and transfer the know-how.

Our Expertise
We conduct comprehensive diagnoses and technical assessments of urban systems. Using accurate mathematical procedures, we construct systemic models that offer an in-depth breakdown of urban structural features and performance mechanisms. Identifying problems is our specialty, and we provide contextual strategic plans.
Our Methodology
IMM serves as a methodological tool aligned with the implementation of Goal 11 of the Sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs).
By integrating urban analysis, computer algorithms, and systems thinking principles, we craft precise models of urban areas. We use these models to evaluate the performance of the built environment following the targets and indicators outlined in SDG 11.
